One of my aquilegias is out. Another is well on the way. I'm so glad - they are some of my favourite flowers.

This is one plant that I don't have in my garden right now. I've always loved them. I'll have to pick one up the next time I'm in the nursery. My bleeding heart is blooming, and doing well despite the fact that I totally ignore it. I'd like to put in more of that, too. I bet your gardens are gorgeous!
Buffy, the wonderful thing about aquilegia is the way it self-seeds. You just plant it in the garden and just let it get on all by itself every year. Our bleeding heart is also blooming but isn't as big as I remember it being last year. I don't know why but I ignore that too.
