Is this good? As someone who left school at 16 and went straight into work I am very aware that I'm not a genius. But I hope I'm not stupid either.
Anyway, I don't want to frighten away anyone by the extent of my erudition. (Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it - grin.)

I'm astonished! I'd have never guessed that you weren't a college graduate. Dear Husband made his way in life without any college, and has been very successful, and one of his sons is working in computers, rather than the subject in which he earned two degrees (and I've done the same).
It seems to me that a college education might not be all it's cracked up to be.

Buffy
Buffy,
I have to admit that I was a little taken aback when this came through as I thought it would be higher. But then I was always good at English language at school and my work area used lanuage as a tool. I never used to mind not going to university - until I started to visit the Stepson at Cambridge. Now there is somewhere that makes you wish you had gone there. It's a wonderful; place.
Anyway, this was the first time I had managed to post one of these banner things here - up to now it had never woprked. So the whole post is an experiment. (Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. {grin})
