The Red Camellia in my garden. I'm slightly confused though as they look almost dark pink here while they look red in real life.I wonder whether it's something to do with the camera?

We are expecting very cold weather, frosts and possibly snow by Monday. I hope it won't affect the blossoms too much. I fear so, though.

I think it is all in how the monitor is set up. I know that Buffy's monitor shows colors much differently from the way my monitor shows them. In this case, the camelia looks scarlet on my monitor. It's lovely, whatever precise hue. Good luck with your frost.

It is a lovely camellia, isn't it. I'm not sure if it's the monitor or not. I'll have to experiment.

Gorgeous photos, absolutely gorgeous. Reds are hard to capture, but you certainly caught the essence of that flower. Thank you for that.

Thank you for your comments, Alisonh. I am learning how to use a camera so your encouragement really helps.
